What is S.E.W.?
An association of home childcare providers in the Evanston, Skokie, and Wilmette area. We began the group in 1995 with a grant from the Child Care Network of Evanston.
Who is S.E.W.?
We currently have a membership of thirty-five providers. We have members who have been in business for 20+ years and members who are in the process of becoming licensed.
For Providers:
The profession of Family Child Care, while rewarding, can be isolating. We are here to give support to each other and to share our common interests and concerns.
Membership fee is $30 yearly.
For Communities:
We are here to promote Family Child Care as a profession and to mentor new providers in their career choice. We are here to advocate, respect, and support children, their families, and quality childcare.
